Today is day 7 with my new Green Smoke electronic cigarette and man am I happy! I have not even tried to pick up a regular cig since and can’t imagine going back to those nasty things. Here are some pros and cons as I see it:
Pros:
Lots of vapor… feels like a real cigarette because of this volume
2-piece design… unlike most others this brand has only 2 pieces with the atomizer built into the cartridge so you get a fresh atomizer each time you change cartridges
Ease of use… because there are only 2 pieces it is much easier to deal with
Warranty… a 30 day money back guarantee and a 1 year warranty
Cons:
Cost… yes this system costs a little more money than most but makes up for it in many ways
Non-refillable cartridges… unlike most these cartridges are designed to be disposible and not re-fillable like others this can be an issue when you run out of cartridges and could re-fill them
All in all these things are the best I have tried… give it a shot and get a 10% discount on a starter kit… http://bit.ly/27Qt67

If you want the joy of smoking without the tars and other bad stuff contained in smoke you owe it to yourself to try this… http://bit.ly/27Qt67
I’m a former smoker and I’ve been without a cigarette now for almost two weeks. I really wanted to quit and decided one night that I could do it with the help of the internet. I’ll be honest the first thing that popped into my head was a web site with Google Ads and lots of revenue. Aside from the usual easy things you add to a site (SEO, Adsense, Tags, and Keywords) I have been pretty much setting these up for the help I need to take my mind off of smoking.
My first site was www.quitbeforebroke.com. Here I just wanted a space to write stuff to take my mind off of smoking. That in turn created www.rstint.com where now I am offering to set up anybody’s blog for them. I believe that many people out there just are not ready to do their own thing. So I created www.rstint.com, a simple website, that gives the average person a shot at “owning” a piece of the internet. There is not a big money making mentality here because I simply could not do enough sites to make the money I need to make to sustain my lifestyle. I’m not tying to be cocky here but after doing the numbers it would take 50-60 sites a month to keep cash flow even with the level of income I am accustomed with. At that pace there will be no room for site development and additional projects that are on the burner.
This is simply an extension of the quitbeforebroke web site. Now that I’m into the second week I needed more to do to keep me occupied. It now didn’t require sitting here blogging all day to kill my urge. I thought that it would be nice to offer a service to others that would allow me to stay busy and therefore not smoke. It sounds easy and several people have already said why not just do a blog on Google’s BlogSpot? Well you can very easily… but your site name will be part of the Google world and therefore traffic will be ultimately theirs.
A lot of people want their own web address just like their home address, unique to them and only them. Unlike a home address, as long as your yearly fees are paid this is yours for the foreseeable future. As far as we know right now that address is yours indefinitely and can be transferred to family members for generations to come.
Personal websites can range from a family picture site with password protected content, if needed, to public journals, and even motivational sites like the one I did to take my mind off smoking. You could do weight loss, exercise, a hobby, a sport, really anything that you are passionate about will give you satisfaction.
Check out www.rstint.com and let me know if I can help in any way…
I have been without a cigarette now for almost two weeks. On Sunday March 22nd of this year I decided that enough was enough and put down the cigarettes for good. I am in my upper 40’s and quit smoking for 11 years but started back up a little over 2 years ago. That was the worst thing I could have done.
Back in 1994 I decided that I was done smoking and ordered a kit from a company called Quick Quitz. It consisted of two pills and an aroma therapy bottle. I quit on a Thursday evening by taking two pills and heading to bed. The next morning I had just a slight craving but it was no big deal. That night, Friday night we were out in the boat and went to a waterfront bar. It seemed like everyone was smoking including people I went with, yeah I know no love at all. But that was the last I smoked for over 10 years.
Fast forward to 2006 and I was at a comedy club and had a bunch to drink and bummed a cigarette from a friend. Well you know the story… the rest is history.
Well now that I’m unemployed and running out of money it seemed crazy to spend that much money on a nasty habit, so I quit. I didn’t feel like spending money on patches, drugs, or other cessation remedies. So I reached for a cigarette Sunday night and said NO. That was it… almost two weeks and no problems.
The secret to my success has been the internet. I started a blog called www.quitbeforebroke.com This allowed me a place to create and write stuff that kept my mind off cigarettes. It also helped my stay occupied by researching products and web sites that deal with the idea of quit smoking cold turkey. There are also a lot of tools that can help you along the way like counters and calculators. These small software applications record the time and day you quit and keep a running total of money saved, number of cigarettes not smoked, and days added to your life.
Here are my stats as of today:

It has been a few days since I last posted… sorry. It is probably because I have almost completely forgot about this nasty habit I had called smoking. I have no interest at all now and it seems like I never smoked. Anyway 1 week and 4 days and counting… YEAH
Day seven is here and I’m still not smoking… YEAH. Went to a concert last night and had a couple of cravings but made it through OK.
I think I can finally say I have beat this thing once and for all.
I went out last night to the bar and had several beers with many people around me smoking. I had a couple of cravings that I was able to fight off. This is the first time that I really thought I wanted a cigarette since I quit. I made it through with flying colors and feel great.
I will not smoke…
Well here we are into day 5 and once again I woke up without significant cravings. It looks like it will be a good day for sure.
One thing I have noticed is my reduced soda caffeine intake. I do not drink coffee but instead have a Mountain Dew in the morning. Some mornings I can go through 2 or 3 cans but since I quit smoking I am barely drinking one. I kind of thought it would be the opposite and I would drink more without cigarettes. I like this side effect already as I reduce my caloric intake.
I will not smoke…
It is now the 4th day without cigarettes and again it feels like I can do this easily. I have a small craving this morning but nothing I can’t control. For my wife this is a big day since she officially swore them off last night this is day one for her. I am going fishing here in a little bit so I won’t be here for moral support so I am putting together a note of encouragement that she will see when she wakes up. She has smoked longer than I have and doesn’t seem to have the same ability I do to just walk away. I promised her I would do whatever I needed to do to make this work. I told her that I would be back to take her to a special lunch on the water in Longboat Key to mark this awesome day.

As of 11:00 PM tonight there are no longer any smokers in this house. I got a head start by quitting Sunday night(3/22/09). My wife has quit as of 11:00 PM tonight. I have just passed the 72 hour mark and things seem to be getting easier. I will do whatever it takes to make sure my wife completes the quit as well.
