Your Own Motivational Website

I’m a former smoker and I’ve been without a cigarette now for almost two weeks. I really wanted to quit and decided one night that I could do it with the help of the internet.  I’ll be honest the first thing that popped into my head was a web site with Google Ads and lots of revenue.  Aside from the usual easy things you add to a site (SEO, Adsense, Tags, and Keywords) I have been pretty much setting these up for the help I need to take my mind off of smoking.

My first site was www.quitbeforebroke.com.  Here I just wanted a space to write stuff to take my mind off of smoking.  That in turn created www.rstint.com where now I am offering to set up anybody’s blog for them.  I believe that many people out there just are not ready to do their own thing.  So I created www.rstint.com, a simple website, that gives the average person a shot at “owning” a piece of the internet.  There is not a big money making mentality here because I simply could not do enough sites to make the money I need to make to sustain my lifestyle.  I’m not tying to be cocky here but after doing the numbers it would take 50-60 sites a month to keep cash flow even with the level of income I am accustomed with.  At that pace there will be no room for site development and additional projects that are on the burner.

This is simply an extension of the quitbeforebroke web site.  Now that I’m into the second week I needed more to do to keep me occupied.   It now didn’t require sitting here blogging all day to kill my urge.  I thought that it would be nice to offer a service to others that would allow me to stay busy and therefore not smoke.  It sounds easy and several people have already said why not just do a blog on Google’s BlogSpot?  Well you can very easily… but your site name will be part of the Google world and therefore traffic will be ultimately theirs.

A lot of people want their own web address just like their home address, unique to them and only them.  Unlike a home address, as long as your yearly fees are paid this is yours for the foreseeable future.  As far as we know right now that address is yours indefinitely and can be transferred to family members for generations to come.

Personal websites can range from a family picture site with password protected content, if needed, to public journals, and even motivational sites like the one I did to take my mind off smoking.  You could do weight loss, exercise, a hobby, a sport, really anything that you are passionate about will give you satisfaction.

Check out www.rstint.com and let me know if I can help in any way…
